Why does the side burner not ignite?

Please follow this checklist:

1. Is there still gas?
2. Can you see a spark?
3. Does the side burner ignite with a lighter?

If the burner ignites with a lighter, it is not a technical problem.

At the top of the side burner there is a steel pin. If this pin is too far away from the side burner, ignition will not work. You can bend the pin yourself. The correct distance is 3-5mm.
